Andrew Lavin

President

Andrew Lavin, president of A. Lavin Communications, has more than 30 years of experience and success in strategic communications and media relations within many industries.

Clients value his senior level expertise, and top-down approach to communications campaigns that has fostered many long-term relationships and client engagements.

Working with a dedicated team of publicists, writers, and marketing pros, he drives the vision, oversees strategy, and garners exceptional results.

During his career, Lavin has worked with major Fortune 500 companies and startup companies. Global brands and new technologies.

Prior to forming A. Lavin Communications, he held senior management positions at several of the largest U.S. communications companies, and was the youngest vice president at a major international PR firm.

Lavin graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Communications. He works and lives in Port Washington, New York.

Sue Klein

Senior Account Manager

Susan Klein has several decades of experience including  life sciences, nonprofit, and technology.

A seasoned strategist and superb writer, she specializes in clear, concise, strategic copy for professional and general audiences.

Klein is a valued account team member who works closely with our clients to develop communications with vibrant messaging that inspires confidence, drives sales, and delivers a call to action.

Klein creates strategic collateral materials including website content, product launch materials, press materials, byline articles, and video scripts.

She has a B.A. in English/Communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.

Cynthia Amorese

Account Manager

Cynthia Amorese plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing publicity campaigns including strategy, writing and media relations. She is a healthcare communications specialist with more than 20 years of staff and consulting experience with leading global public relations agencies working with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies.

Amorese has worked with A. Lavin Communications for five years. She previously worked at Euro RSCG Life representing a broad range of organizations including biopharma, healthcare, advocacy groups and government agencies. She began her PR career at Burson-Marsteller after several years as a reporter at the Virginia Pilot. 

Amorese earned a B.A at Old Dominion University.
